minerCPP

I can't seem to make myself owner. I have gone into the users.txt and put in Ikroth:255 but it doesn't seem to work. I'm a newbie to minerCPP. I'm probably doing something obviously wrong.

It has to be lowercase.

I tried that. It just said Illegal Name when I entered.

If you begin getting the Illegal Name error, restart your server and try again.

Okay. after spacing it in different ways and changing stuff magically I got it working. Thanks

Uppercase is fine, they're forced down on parsing iirc.

Really? I just remember when users.txt was first implemented, they had to be lowercase in-file.

Yes, the names are converted to lowercase when the file is read in.

Uh, in users.txt for me, it shows

# Example: Notch:255
shouldnt that be lowercase also?

That is just an example you can remove that.
