Random lag outs

So I am running a minerCPP server and I must say, I am absolutely loving it. I am only seeing one problem. I think its when the server tries to establish a connection with a user (leaving or joining) it seems to stop updating bricks, player location, chat, etc until its done making the new connection. Now I don't know if this is it, but it seems like it from the symptoms.

Here is what I see: the chat, player locations, chunk updates, everything else stops except for the actual connection to player at what seems like random. It also seems as if the server returns from this state when another player joins the game. Thus I assume the server is attempting make/break a connection to the new player that is leaving or joining and when it does so, it temporarily stops the things previously stated.

Maybe this is something I am doing wrong, whatever help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem
My server is well populated most of the time (20+ Players usually)
It seems to be happening frequently every 10-20 mins
I changed map backup time to 999999 to see if it was that, it may be that.

The map just froze out again and in the server I see the message "Map saved!"

I want to turn this off...

If this is a known problem or if there are any known solutions, I would love to hear about it.

If you're wondering I run "/v/ - Minecraft" and just recently switched to this server software.

It won't crash but it will be extremely laggy in the server, even to myself
Only a restart fixes it

I changed the priority to real time to see if this would fix it
