RE: Suggestions
How about a /uptime command?
Displays server uptime. I thought it would be nice to have because some people like to reset their maps and servers way too often. It would be kinda cool also if it gave the age of the current map. (if thats possible) Maybe that could be in a different command like /mapinfo (shows how long the map was created for, and gives a number of maps current length height and depth or something.) The more I think about it, how about a easy "name <rank>" color changer? /color <rank> <color> OR /color <playername> <color> That way we wouldn't have to go into source code to edit stuff, because I rather not break it.. ![]() Like the 4th edit to this post today. /cords or /where (shows your x,y,z cords on current map) |

RE: Suggestions
I'm definitely putting in another vote for Multi-Map, especially if Portals are involved
![]() I'm having a blast with minerCPP, and portals/multi-map would just make the whole package for me. EDIT: Also! I'm not sure how possible this is, I bet Notch would have to put it into Minecraft himself, but a feature I've always thought about: blocks that can be set with messages, sort of like when you look at a player to see their name- so people can add explanations to what they've built, or just sign them without having to use tons of space to write their name out in blocks. Maybe like using a bookshelf block will display a piece of paper or something similar on the user's screen. |

Not possible. The game engine and protocol are very simplistic.

THAT is possible. What he asked, doing it visually as an item in-game is not.

RE: Suggestions
It's not a bad idea.
However the problem is, it would require calculating each players rotx/roty, in relation to all other players on the map. It would require (player count)^2 - 1 calculations, or so. |

RE: Suggestions
indeed /stop would be handy.
something that asks you to confirm an action if its stupidly massive might be good. |
